Free medical camp was organized by at Health Centre IOT, Zakuro on 7/0ct/2024 in collaboration with Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, Srinagar. More than 250 patients availed the opportunity of free consultation by expert doctors of valley. Patients were screened for refractive errors, cataract and glaucoma.

HiQmah, a prominent skill development organization dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry, in collaboration with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, recently organized a one-day Corporate Readiness Workshop for college students in Jammu & Kashmir. The workshop, designed to prepare students for the professional world.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at the University of Kashmir successfully organized a one-day event titled "Tech Futures: Alumni Insights for Students," aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world technology careers. The event took place on 22nd August, 2024 and featured Er. Aijaz, a distinguished alumnus of the department and currently a Senior System Engineer at Qualcomm.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Kashmir recently organized a one-day technical tour on 20th August, 2024 to the Upper Sindh Hydroelectric Power Station. The tour provided students with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to explore the practical aspects of power generation and the functioning of a hydroelectric power station.

The Centre for Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) successfully organized an engaging and inspiring "Innovation & Entrepreneurship Outreach Program" at Kashmir University Model High School. The event, held on August 2, 2024, aimed to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young students, encouraging them to explore and develop their innovative ideas.

This program is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to effectively operate, program, and maintain CNC machines. The training program will be conducted over the course of three days and will feature a blend of theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
