National Innovation Foundation (NIF)-India in collaboration with University of Kashmir organized one day “Workshop on protecting IP rights of indigenous knowledge holders” at Ibn Khaldun Auditorium, University of Kashmir on 23.07.2024 to felicitate outstanding traditional knowledge holders whose patents have been granted (for the herbal medicines for treatment of various diseases related to human health) from Indian Patent Office in 2023 & 2024 and to explain and discuss the value addition and IPR related activities. Prof. Nilofer Khan Hon’ble vice chancellor University of Kashmir graced the event as chief guest. Prof. Naseer Iqbal Registrar University of Kashmir, Dr. Arvind Ranade Director NIFIndia, Prof. M Tariq Banday Director Institute of Technology, Deans and HODs of various departments and other scientists from NIF-India also participated in the event.
