The Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) is a recently established Centre at Institute of Technology, University of Kashmir, Zakura Campus (in April 2021) with multi-pronged objectives of promoting innovation, garnering incubation of ideas besides harnessing entrepreneurship among creative youth – especially students. CIIE strives to identify talented youth and motivate them to entrepreneurial and innovation works and support them in their journey to develop their innovative ideas. The Centre is keen to offer them a platform to manifest their ideas into products and to go on to make them into commercially viable products so that all such innovators are encouraged to take flight in the horizon of success. In this backdrop, CIIE proposes to organize a One Day Innovation Exhibition cum Innovator’s Meet in the last week of December 2021 primarily targeting students of the Institute of Technology but not limited to them besides groups of students from schools in the local area who would attend the Exhibition. This is aimed at encouraging their acumen to creativity and innovation. Among the highlights of the event would be the opportunity provided to participants to the Exhibition, a unique chance to interact with acclaimed and award winning Innovators drawn from across the length and breadth of the region and an occasion for young and inquisitive minds to draw inspiration from them. 

 OBJECTIVES 

 ? An exhibition for showcasing innovations of various innovators that have been scouted by the National Innovation Foundation (JK Cell) and who have been acclaimed and awarded at various levels including the National level for their unique innovations and products. 

 ? Face to face interaction between Innovators of repute with students of Institute of Technology, children from local schools etc. with the aim of inculcating spirit of creativity among students. 

 ? Expert lectures regarding proposal drafting and patent filing of technology innovations and problems faced thereof. 

 ? Sessions for honoring innovators from grassroot level and professional sectors.
