The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at the University of Kashmir successfully organized a one-day event titled "Tech Futures: Alumni Insights for Students," aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world technology careers. The event took place on 22nd August, 2024 and featured Er. Aijaz, a distinguished alumnus of the department and currently a Senior System Engineer at Qualcomm.

Er. Aijaz, who has an impressive academic and professional background, qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2019. He went on to complete his Master of Technology (M.Tech) from IIT Jammu, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist. His journey from being a student at the University of Kashmir to securing a pivotal role at Qualcomm served as an inspiring example for the current students.

During the event, Er. Aijaz shared his experiences and provided invaluable insights into the rapidly evolving tech industry. He emphasized the importance of staying updated with the latest technological trends and how students can leverage their academic
