Research Fellow

I completed my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from IUST in 2016 and earned my Ph.D. from NIT Srinagar in June 2022. I then worked as a Principal Investigator (Post-Doctoral Fellow) under the NPDF at IUST. During my research, I focused on dimensionality reduction and machine learning for complex systems, which resulted in 15 international journal papers, six conference publications, and a design patent. I have expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, HPC, Python modeling, and LaTeX. I've taught courses, co-supervised (two) Ph.D. scholars, Masters and Bachelors thesis. I have earned the Seal of Excellence award from the European Commission for submitting a high-quality research proposal under the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2023 with Imperial College London. I am currently working as the DST INSPIRE faculty fellow in the Department of EE since 2024.
