One-Week Workshop on Design of Magnetics for Power Electronic Converters at NIT Srinagar

We are delighted to announce a one-week workshop on "Design of Magnetics for Power Electronic Converters" organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Srinagar. We invite professionals, faculty members, scientists, and students to participate and enrich their knowledge in this specialized domain.

Workshop Details:

§  Date: 10th to 14th June 2024

§  Venue: NIT Srinagar

§  Focus: The workshop will cover practical aspects of designing magnetic components, specifically inductors and transformers, within the field of power electronics. Topics will include material selection, core loss estimation, transformer loss calculation, FEM simulation, and much more.

§  Hands-on Training: Participants will engage in hands-on winding, performance testing, and design improvement sessions, emphasizing core and bobbin selection methods and transformer loss calculations.

§  Expert Sessions: Esteemed experts from IIT/NIT and industries will share their insights and expertise during the workshop.
